This is the big moment where all applicants who applied can check their status using the Green Card Lottery Winner Status system provided by the US Green Card Office from May 7, 2019, if they applied last year for the DV-2020 Diversity Visa Program, also known as the Green Card Lottery.
Applicants who applied using the paid Green Card Lottery service on www.usgreencardoffice.com will get notified directly on email and do not need to check their status. However, they may check their status online via their personal account on www.usgreencardoffice.com/login from May 7, 2019
Important: Applicants can only check their status if they have a (2020xxxxxxxxxxxx) confirmation number issued by the US Government in October/November 2018
The US Green Card Office paid immigration support will get in touch with all winners through email and a personal phone call between the 7th of May and 30th of May 2019 so all applicants should make sure their personal information is up-to-date so the immigration team can get hold of all winners on time.
The Lottery is officially called the Diversity Immigrant Visa Lottery (Popularly known as the Green Card Lottery)
